me&dave were approached by Ellie Frost, (ex-business development director at Jamie Oliver) to help bring to life the brand identity for her new venture – Hatch.

With innovation and creative thinking at its heart, Hatch helps businesses realise their potential by turning conventional development and strategy on its head. Hatch helps businesses reignite past ideas, create new ones and make them happen – launching new brands, products and services. Hatch takes an altogether fresh look at business growth.

Creative solution
We wanted the identity to project the personality of Hatch and it's director. The logo visually represents Hatch's way of thinking – looking at something in an alternative way. The conventional way of reading letters in order for a word to be legible has been revisited.

The result, the name still reads but just in a new way. The chosen typeface and colour palette of warm greys with punchy accent colours gives the brand confidence, dynamism and a hint of playfulness.
