Brief – chronicling a 240 year passage through time

To capture the magic of the British Empire and the pioneering spirit that was originally responsible for this historic warehouse – later listed as Grade I and rescued from the English Heritage ‘Buildings at Risk’ register in 2006. To smoothly traverse from the traditional building to the sophisticated interiors and position the development as one of the City of London’s most exclusive addresses. 

Creative solution – a sense of discovery

The pedigree and provenance of this unique building was woven into a confident brand, endorsed by an opening poem, pen and ink illustrations and elegant typography to characterise Tapestry’s history. Clean, understated photography created a very real impression of the beautiful interiors with their unrivalled finish and specification. 

Tapestry Building won the Best Small Conversion at the Evening Standard Homes & Property Awards 2011.
